Yvonne Reijnders-Gloerich Jewelry, Bronzes , Ceramics and -workshops It seems as if Yvonne has allways been involved in design. Allways looking for ways to express her creativity. It started with drawing and painting. Later on she got educated as an interior designer. In 1988 she started creating jewelry, this became a kind of addiction, and Yvonne loves it. Because of many positive responses she started to exhibit her creations in galleries. About ten years ago she got in contact with clay for modeling. And got a second, unstoppable addiction. She often uses metals, like bronze and copper or glass in combination with her ceramic statues and sculptures. Last but not least you often can see her while creating sculptures out of soapstone. To get an overall feeling for all kind of usable materials she followed a training at "Stichting Kreative Educatie". As you can see, during the past years she did a lot of training and also was member of a group of artists, designing ceramics. She would like to transfer the knowledge and experiences she gathered over these years and therefore she recently organised several workshops. Because of the many enthousiastic responses there will be a follow up during 2011. At this moment following days have been scheduled:
Remarks: - The '5 days' workshops will be given on the same day (Tuesday) in 5 consecutive weeks. - If you wish so the clay sculpture can be kiln fired at an extra cost of 10 €. This way you are free to use alternative means. - Basic needs (a soapstone or 10kg of clay) is included. --A scheduled workshop will not take place if there are not at least 6 participants. -- In case you are interested in taking part you can look at the albums, listed below or get in contact directly. For contact details see at the bottom of this page. Some examples of her own creations:
